Randall Krantz, 27, is currently living in Barcelona, Spain while enrolled in his second year of a graduate MBA program at IESE Business School. Randall spent the summer working for a nonprofit housing foundation in El Salvador, Central America. Before returning to the academic life, he lived in Anchorage, Alaska where he worked for the Municipal utility and enjoyed life in the mountains. 

Among other mountaineering adventures last summer, Randall spent 28 days on a traverse of Mt McKinley and attempted a late season summit of Mt Hunter. A possible trip to South America is in the works for Christmas 2001 and plans are already underway for another month of Alaskan adventures after classes end in May 2002. 

Upon graduation next June, Randall hopes to travel until the inevitable return to work. Although he does not know where he will end up, he is looking for work in the booming energy sector, and hopes to work with renewable resources and energy development.
