The California Dalrymples
Julie, Roger, Lisa and Pam at Lisa & Nat's Sept 18th, 2004 weddingRoger and Pam Dalrymple live in San Leandro, California, just outside of San Francisco. Roger grew up in Lockport and Delmar, New York with his brothers Doug, Dana, Ross and sister Anne. He graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1966 and moved out to California in 1968.
Roger and Pam met in Oakland in 1972 and were married in 1974. Roger owns a successful auto repair shop in Oakland, Roger's Autoworks, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Click here to take a look at the Roger's Autoworks Website.
Pam Dalrymple is a native of Oakland, California and grew up with her brothers, Joe and Michael and sister, Theresa. She works as bookkeeper for Roger's Autoworks and also volunteers at a local historical estate. In their free time, Pam and Roger love to travel. Recent annual vacations have taken them to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and Hawaii. They also enjoy relaxing in their
sunny backyard with their cat, Belle, and working on various home improvement projects.
Julie Dalrymple lives in the East Bay area with her cat, Gatsby. She works in marketing and development for an arts-based non-profit organization and also does freelance web and graphic design through her company, www.CatOnTheKeys.com. Julie is a graduate of UC Davis and is now in grad school at St. Mary's College studying for a master of arts degree in Liberal Studies. Julie recently traveled to Scotland (in Edinburgh, at photo on right) to step in the footsteps of her Dalrymple ancestors. While there, she tried haggis, frolicked in the Highlands, hung out with Nessie and enjoyed a literary pub tour. She plans on traveling back to Scotland again in the near future to visit the town of Dalrymple.
Lisa Dalrymple-Meyr and her husband, Nat, live in Seattle, Washington. Lisa is studying for her MBA from the University of Washington.
In her spare time Lisa studies yoga. She and Nat enjoy hiking, traveling and hanging out with their cat, Iris.
Lisa and Julie both graduated from the University of California, Davis. Julie earned a double Bachelor of Arts degree in English and history. Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and went on to receive her masters degree from Loyola University in Chicago.
